In the performance “Us,” Éric Trottier and his five dancers address the theme of identity and its interaction with society. With a blend of humor and depth, they investigate how individuals navigate closeness and distance, handle their cultural and social influences, and undergo personal development. The dynamics of connection—both protective and constraining—are examined as the five figures come together, separate, and come together again.
