by Kollektiv Synchron (2021)
a 15 minutes dance performance installation dedicated to abandoned driftwood. Two dancers, one musician and a visual designer join forces to discover and reflect on the journeys and stories of both our human body and the body of wood. Where do their stories meet?
Every piece of driftwood resembles a kind of organic sculpture, shaped by the motion and friction of water. The human body experiences similar cycles of growth and decay and is shaped by every encounter along the way. It is this duality that fascinates the four artists of Kollektiv Synchron.
