How much of our everyday life is comprised of repetitive and automized routines, of work-related tasks? Why are we constantly “doing” something? How comfortable are we truly while doing nothing? In BREAK three dancers explore different modes of disengagement from action, seeking a closer sense of self. By looking for the quiet they are met with the sound of their inner worlds. This dance piece is an invitation to listen to the rhythm and flow of life around and within us. When we break away from the constant urge to do and produce, the beauty and strength of stillness is able to reveal itself.
