Georgia Begbie was born in Switzerland and has Scottish and Irish roots. She studied dance in the Netherlands at Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg.
During her final year (2017/18), she worked with various choreographers, including Marina Mascarell, Guilherme Miotto (Corpo Máquina), Jasper Džuki Jelen and Mojra Vogelnik Škerlj (The100Hands), who are all based in the Netherlands.

Since graduating in July 2018, she has been working as a freelance dancer in the Netherlands with Corpo Máquina, in Germany with La Trottier Dance and Verein für Kunst und Demokratie and in Belgium with Collectief dOFt. In 2020 she joined Kollektiv Synchron to create the multimedia dance performance my own echo chamber. Together with Anna Zurkirchen she co-founded Kollektiv Schaflos. Their first performance if so whenever maybe after premiered in 2022 in the Kunst- und Kulturhaus VISAVIS in Berne.

Currently she does freelance dance work around Europe.

As a dancer Georgia looks for the intuitive expression of the body and aims to capture the magic of the present moment.
