Georgia Begbie was born in Switzerland and has Scottish and Irish roots. She studied dance at Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg, graduating in 2018. During her final year of studies, she worked with choreographers including Marina Mascarell, Guilherme Miotto (Corpo Máquina), Jasper Džuki Jelen, and Mojra Vogelnik Škerlj (The100Hands).
Since graduating, Georgia has worked as a freelance dancer across the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium with companies such as Corpo Máquina, La Trottier Dance, Verein für Kunst und Demokratie, Collectief dOFt, and Circumstances.
As a dancer Georgia looks for the intuitive expression of the body and aims to capture the magic of the present moment.
